Booking & Practical Answers

The questions guests ask most before a flight, grouped so you can find yours fast.

01 Booking

How do I book a Bali helicopter tour?

Message our concierge on WhatsApp or email with your date, group size and the views you want. We reply within one business hour with options.

How far ahead should I book?

At least 48 hours before you fly. Holiday dates and golden-hour slots fill first, so booking earlier gives you more choice.

Can I book for the same day?

We ask for 48 hours’ notice to plan and confirm each flight properly. For anything sooner, message us and we will tell you what is possible.

Can I fly on my own?

Yes. Solo travellers can take a seat on a shared flight or charter an aircraft privately, depending on availability.

When is the concierge available?

Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00 WITA. Messages sent outside those hours are answered when we reopen.

02 Price & Payment

How much does a Bali helicopter tour cost?

It depends on the aircraft, flight time, a shared seat or private charter, and any extras. We quote every request individually — our Tour Cost page explains each factor.

Are there hidden costs?

No. Your quote states what the flight includes. Extras such as hotel transfers or a photographer are listed and priced separately.

How do I pay?

Payment terms and accepted methods are confirmed with your quote, before you commit. Ask our concierge if you have a preferred method.

Is there a better option for groups?

A private charter prices the whole aircraft, so the cost is shared across your party. Ask our concierge which aircraft fits your group.

Is travel insurance included?

No. We recommend arranging your own travel insurance before your trip.

03 On the Day

Where does the flight depart?

From the DPS heliport at Ngurah Rai International Airport, convenient if you arrive or leave Bali the same day.

What should I bring?

A valid passport or ID for check-in, sunglasses, and a camera or phone with a charged battery.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Avoid hats, scarves or anything loose that could blow away during boarding.

What happens at check-in?

We confirm your booking and ID, note passenger weights for the aircraft’s balance, then give the safety briefing before boarding.

Can I bring a bag?

Keep it small. Cabin space and weight are limited, so travel light and ask us before bringing anything larger.

Can I bring a camera?

Yes. Use a wrist strap and keep spare batteries in a pocket rather than loose in the cabin.

04 Weather & Changes

What if the weather is bad?

The pilot decides whether it is safe to fly. If it is not, we move your flight to another slot with you.

When is the best season to fly?

The dry season, April to October, brings clearer skies. Wet-season flights from November to March work best with a flexible date.

Do you fly at night?

No. Scenic flights run in daylight for safety and so you can see the landscape.

Can I change my booking?

Yes, subject to availability. Contact our concierge as early as possible so we can offer the best alternative slot.

What if I miss my flight?

Message us straight away. We will look for another slot, though options depend on that day’s schedule.

05 Special Requests

Can I choose my own route?

On a private charter, yes — within safety limits and air traffic control approval. Tell us the views you want when you enquire.

Can a flight be part of a proposal or celebration?

Yes. Private charters are planned around proposals, anniversaries and birthdays, with set-ups arranged on request.

Can we land somewhere along the way?

Landings away from the heliport are possible on some private charters, subject to permits. Allow extra lead time.

Is it suitable for older guests or during pregnancy?

Tell us about mobility or health needs when you book. If pregnant, check with your doctor before flying.

What if I get motion sickness?

Take your usual remedy before the flight and tell the pilot if you feel unwell. Morning air is usually the calmest.

Can I bring a pet?

No. Pets cannot travel in the cabin, for the safety and comfort of all passengers.
