Morning over the Bukit peninsula: the Padang Padang and Bingin surf breaks, then Uluwatu temple about 70 m above the ocean.
Inland to Kintamani for Mount Batur (1,717 m) and its caldera lake, with a lunch stop overlooking the volcano. The return passes coffee plantations and Tegallalang.
A dawn flight over Ubud and the Ayung River valley, then the Tegallalang terraces and the subak irrigation system — UNESCO-listed since 2012.
West to the Jatiluwih terraces and the slopes of Mount Batukaru, Bali’s second-highest volcano. On the ground: a cooking class or a quiet spa treatment.
East to Mount Agung (3,031 m), seen from a respectful distance, and Besakih, the Mother Temple, on its slopes.
Across the Badung Strait to Nusa Penida: Kelingking’s T-Rex cliff and Angel’s Billabong, with a secluded beach stop and picnic lunch where landing is permitted.
